Namgyal Ngodup is from Chhokang-paro village of Upper Tsum. Having his good aptitude in primary education in local school, he secured an opportunity for high-school education in Namgyal Boarding School in Kathmandu. He holds a bachelor's degree in social science. He also worked as a teacher for monks at Mu Gonpa. He started working as an interpreter for a PhD student from Germany. Apart from his off-season works in NGOs as a social mobilizer, he doesn’t want to miss an opportunity to guide visitors and give his best interpretations skills and perhaps coziest home stay experience at his home.
