Nurbu Lama is one of the senior guide from Tsum Chhokangparo village, his father a salt and leather trader sent him to school for about 3 years. After several unsuccessful cloth trading between China and Nepal, he made a career shift while he joined as an assistant crewmembers for foreign trekking groups around Annapurna round circuit. With his special skills to connect with people from different cultural backgrounds, he got financial assistance to undertake mountaineering guide from his French friend. He climbed numerous peaks of the Himalaya while equally enojoys looking up to mountains that he already climbed during the trekking. He speaks French, English, Hindi, Tibetan, Nepali and of course his mother toungue Tsumba.
